DCT Wallet Terms & Conditions

Overview
These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern the use of the cryptocurrency wallet service DCT Wallet (the “Service”) provided by DCT Wallet Sociedad de Responsabilidad Limitada (the “Company”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions
- Service means the software-based cryptocurrency wallet service that allows users to store, send, receive, and manage digital assets.
- User means any individual or legal entity that accesses or uses the Service.
- Digital Assets mean cryptocurrencies, tokens, or other blockchain-based digital representations of value.
- Wallet means a software environment used to generate and manage blockchain addresses, private keys, and recovery phrases.
3. Effectiveness and Amendments
These Terms shall become effective upon the User’s access to or use of the Service. The Company may amend these Terms at any time in compliance with applicable laws. If the User does not agree to the amended Terms, the User must discontinue use of the Service.
4. Nature of the Service (Non-Custodial)
DCT Wallet is provided as a non-custodial wallet service. The Company does not store, control, access, or manage Users’ private keys, recovery phrases, or Digital Assets. The Company is not a bank or financial institution.
5. User Responsibilities
Users are solely responsible for safeguarding their private keys and recovery phrases. Loss of access may result in permanent loss of Digital Assets. Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, hacking, or any illegal activities
- Violating third-party rights
- Disrupting or interfering with the Service
7. Fees and Network Charges
The Company may charge service fees for certain features. Blockchain network fees are determined by the applicable network and are paid directly by the User.
8. Suspension or Restriction of Service
The Company may suspend or restrict access to the Service in the event of violations of these Terms, security concerns, or legal requirements.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Company shall not be liable for losses arising from market volatility, blockchain network failures, smart contract issues, or User negligence.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
11. Data Protection
Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws of the Republic of Costa Rica and the Company’s Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Exclusive jurisdiction shall lie with the courts of San José, Costa Rica.
